NHL on NBCSN: Young Blues, Hawks goalies get golden chance in rivalry game

ProHockeyTalk

NBCSN will continue its coverage of the 2014-15 campaign when the Chicago Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues at the United Center at 8:00 p.m. ET tonight. In addition to NBCSN, you can also watch the game online.

So far this season Chicago and St. Louis have been two of the league’s top teams and it’s not hard to see why. Both squads feature a deep offense, strong defense, and arguably an underrated starting goaltender.

Brian Elliott and Corey Crawford each have a GAA under 2.00, but their teams will be tested tonight as those two netminders are injured.

Editor’s Note: Pro Hockey Talk’s partner FanDuel is hosting a one-day $15,000 Fantasy Hockey league for Wednesday’s NHL games. It’s just $2 to join and first prize is $1,400. Starts Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. ET. Here’s the FanDuel link.

Heavy Rains Due to Hit California Again, Threatening Floods and Mudslides

TIME

Drought-stricken California was due for a fresh deluge of rain on Wednesday, with forecasters warning of possible floods and landslides from a significant dump of precipitation. A band of rain on Sunday triggered three mudslides near Malibu and forced nine miles of the Pacific Coast Highway to close. ISA Study Abroad Student Blog

Sarah Johnson is a student at the University of Denver and an ISA Featured Photo Blogger. She is currently studying abroad with ISA in Madrid, Spain.

The Roads of London-Johnson-Photo1

I started off the trip incredibly confused because I completely forgot about how they drive on the other side of the road. Luckily, they nicely label the streets for the many people like me!

One of the first stops on my visit was the Kensington Palace.

There were beautiful gardens, cobblestone roads and a park! Here is a picture of one of the leaf-vine tunnels around the garden of the palace. Many people were enjoying a walk or going for a run through this…
