Early Morning Procrastination

I fell asleep on the lounge yesterday and woke at 5.55am. The dilemma I face whenever this happens is whether or not to crawl up to be bed for a couple of extra hours snooze time or to grab the camera and go take some photo’s. You can see by this post that obviously the camera won but I confess it took me a good 30 minutes to make up my mind.

This was the conversation that ran through my head early yesterday morning:

  • 5.55am – (yawn) “What the hell…what day is it, where am I? Oh, the lounge. Dang.”
  • 6.00am – “Umm, I suppose I could go take some photo’s. How many clouds are there??”
  • 6.05am – Open door, look outside. Very dark still. Looks like there’s some light cloud smudges. Doesn’t look brilliant. Check phone. Sunrise is 6.38am. High tide 5am. Hmmm. Not ideal for taking photo’s of…

mm5 Saiu no jornal e eu compartilhei no Facebook.
