Movie Review: Blended

CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – One out of three ain’t bad, right?

Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are back with their third collaboration of a romantic comedy, Blended.

Watching Sandler and Barrymore, it’s actually difficult to imagine that they’re not married in real life.

But after three of the same type of movies together, you had to wonder if Blended would fall short of expectations, and it actually did in parts.

Their chemistry is great, some of the writing and jokes are great, but a lot of the movie feels very forced.

Barrymore plays Lauren, an uptight but devoted single mom of two boys.

Sandler plays Jim, the devoted single dad to three girls.

After a disastrous blind date, and vowing to never see each other again, they entire group ends up at a luxurious African safari resort.

Sandler and Barrymore really made movie magic with 1998’s, The Wedding Singer.

Water line break causing traffic delays, lowering water pressure in Edmond

EDMOND, Okla. – Drivers in Edmond can expect traffic delays after a water line break.

According to the City of Edmond, the outside southbound lanes on Broadway between 3rd St.  and 4th St. are closed to repair a water line break.

Officials said crews working on water line improvements hit a 10-inch line.

The workers are digging to stop the leak and make a temporary repair until they can make a permanent fix.

Edmond officials said drivers should expect delays.

The road is narrowed to one southbound lane.

Authorities said businesses in the area will experience low water pressure until the temporary fix is finished.

Officials said they don’t have a time frame for when the leak will be fixed and the road opened.
